Allens Creek

This section of Allens Creek consists of three distinct ledge drops: a 5-foot waterfall at the end of the railroad tunnel known as “Choo Choo Falls,” a small slide , and a final ledge called 'Ragnar falls' that can be run either as a slide or as a 4-foot drop . 180cfs is the minimum recommended and over 350 cfs the run becomes less scrapy. There are many surf waves to play on. The run is located on public land, but paddlers should be respectful of adjacent property owners, who have generally been supportive of river users. Respect parking signage! The creek can be scouted from the trail and should always be checked for wood before running. Flows are typically runnable after large rain events or during periods of snowmelt.
