River Description
After the put in there is a rocky rapid followed by miles of boogy water with some class 2 and flat water. After a bridge there is a Class 5 drop called Pa's Falls. From here the run returns to Class 2-3 until the ledges and slides at the takeout. The bottom gains flow from Round Lake Outlet which will hold water. This means the slides at the bottom will run longer than other things in the area.

A straightforward class IV at just about all levels. River left is more challenging, and requires more of a boof at higher water.

Just ran Bog River Falls (8/24/13). It's like a playground! The Hudson was at 3.15 and we got a 1/4' of rain on Thursday (2 days ago). I would say that the falls couldn't be much lower and be worth it. We parked at the take-out and ran each section of the falls a couple of times each. Definitely a good, low stress place to practice creek moves.
