Platte Kill

Starting with Class 2 for a few miles the river takes a sharp bend then builds to Class 3 including ledges and a big slide. When you get to the cow pasture look out for barbed wire. After the pasture be on the lookout for a horizon line and scout the next drop. There will be 1-2 dams to portage and lots more Class 2 to the takeout.
