This portion of the Roeliff Jansen Kill is mostly moving flat water with a number of good rapids towards the middle to later portion of the run, and a larger drop in the first half that may need a scout.
The main Hazards on this route is the abundant sweepers and strainers. A beaver dam will also require hauling over, or running at high water levels. Just before the take out there is a small waterfall. While experienced ww paddlers may wish to run it, levels permitting, open boaters will likely need to line or carry around it.
