Ran this from a couple of miles above the junction of route 8 & 30 to the junction in early April at what we considered a moderately low level. The gauge at Hope (which includes water from the Middle and West Branches) was about 2400 CFS. Even with more water in the East Branch watershed than the others I'd guess that most people would want at least 1800 CFS, unless you enjoy scraping. Squires says 2200 is minimum. I don't know about other stretches of the East Branch, and it's possible that Griffin Gorge or other short stretches are runnable with less water.
