Molalla, North Fork

This is a great class IV+ steep creek. Access is an issue as it crosses private property before continuing on Weyerhaeuser land. Several 'No Trespassing' signs are posted at the first gate. As of 3/21/08, there are NO wood portages. The run somewhat correlates to a medium level for the more well known 3 Bears run on the main Molalla. The put-in requires a ~4 mile hike in over a gravel road. A good take out option exists on the main Molalla approximately 2 miles downstream from the confluence at a day use site called The Cedars owned by ODFW on river right.
