At 6000cfs, the upper 5 miles was fast with rapids linking together. Eddy's exist still at this level but are fewer, widely spaced, and can require effort to reach. All of the main rapids can be run with the same lines as standard flows. This is near the limit of flow that the upper will handle before flooding (no eddy's, flow through the trees).
Individual moves are still 4+ at this level. But there are no pools. Be safe if you want to push the runnable level.
Putting in at a culvert shortly before reaching the typical put-in.
