Canyon Creek

Put in at upper bridge, where the road crosses to the east bank. Many places we pushed and dragged the boats, then a pretty mellow section with some low flow class 2 rapids, then many minutes of fun narrows before the final gorge. 20-50% more water might have been nice. But if there was twice as much water I'd be concerned that seeing and getting out before many fallen trees creating major strainer hazards would be tricky.

Water was beautifully clear and cool.

Canyon Creek is lots of fun. The main run is short but the upper from the last bridge is kinda like a upper trinity/coffee type thing. Lots of 2 and 3 and great waves at higher flows.
