Clearfield Creek

Short half mile section of class 1-2 rock gardens.

paddled on 4/4/2009.I do this stream 3-4 times per year depending on rain. Pleasant run with more than a few play waves and small holes. 3 portages due to blow downs and strainers. Ashville down for around 7 miles is a decent section. This is a II-III stream and requires some skill. My friend who is new to the religion swam once without any major stress his eyes widened to saucer size when he dunked.
