1. Dries: Turtletown Creek to Apalachia Powerhouse (Dries)
Looking back upstream after stopping on mid stream rock to scout Hollywood Bowl Rapid. This rock is river right near the center, fairly easy to find at this flow (1500ish) Stopping here gives good views of various lines through the upper tiers of the rapid, and you can spot the best line through the main drop, although you cannot see the runout afterwards. There are more eddies below here, and in particular a brushy one on river right that is easy to access and scout/ set safety/portage the main drop. This is a great place to regroup before dropping in. As on 08/09/2022 there is bad wood in the left bottom of Hollywood Bowl, and scouting from the railroad tracks can prove more difficult during the summer months when the leaves are blocking easy views
