Tellico

This is the 4th and largest ledge in the 1/4 mile section of rapids immediately above the foot bridge that crosses the Tellico, between North River and Dam Creek Campground.

The sun had set below the canyon rim, the rain was falling, and all that stood between my bicycle at the take-out and where I sat was 208 vertical feet of fun. Need I say more.

There are a few 8 to 10 foot tall ledges above north river. When the river was over three feet, these drops were bigger than the first two ledges on the section below.
