4) Dos Rios to Alderpoint
The put in is not signed and is difficult to find if you're not sure exactly what you're looking for. We would not have found it if not for our shuttle driver, Donna, who pointed out that it's on the MAIN STEM of the Eel about half a mile southwest of the bridge into Dos Rios. To reach it, descend an unmarked 4x4 road to a gravel put-in. Note that as of April 2024, the first riffle needed to be lined in order to avoid a tree/log in the main channel and large willows in the secondary channel. Class IV riffle!
