After the record 2023 spring runoff, the river is still great and relatively unchanged.
No fences across the river as of 8/13/2023 from the Spanish Fork River Park to the Covered Wagon Canyon Bridge

You get to the take out from an access road off the highway that is very easy to miss. If you are driving along the train tracks from the park you are doing it wrong.
The takeout on the river is immediately past the bridge on the right if you are doing the short run. don't miss it unless you want to go all the way into Spanish Fork.
There are now lots of beaver dams below the Utah P and L dam and are not worth running start at the riverside park for the best experience.
