I packrafted the wilderness stretch above this run in May 2014. Hiking up from the trailhead into the wilderness area, there are lots of wood below a long box canyon. Not recommended to paddle here. There is less wood inside the box though,expect to portage every half mile though. We ran it at 600 cfs on the gage and class III at that level from where we put in to paddle the bottom few miles of the box canyon. I personally found it enjoyable, but I definately would only do a low water run on this due to the wood.
