Ran this with CCC Easter Weekend group. 19 people and 18 PFDs! Fun run. I'd call it a class 1-3 with one 3+ rapid (Big Cedar Falls). We found it a bit scrapy down to the confluence. Would have liked to had 6-12 inches more water on it. Clinch @ Cleveland was at ~1900 when we put on and at ~2300 when we took off. Ran the 6 footer on the left and Big Cedar Falls on the right tongue. We scouted BCF from both sides. One person walked it on each side. The left line looked pretty stout but doable (4+) Great scenery. Clinch was pretty tame when we went down. A few ledges, pretty waterfalls.

Ran at 2100 cfs and found the run on the scrapy side. Found it definitely takes a SOLID class 3 boater to make a clean run. My group had two low class 3 paddlers and one solid class 3 and we still had four swims (along with two portages). Probably a tad lower than Spring Creek in NC and on a par with Big Laurel. Recommend class 4 skills to make this run and above 3,000 cfs , solid class 4 skills.
