The low-water bridge in the WMA a quarter mile upstream from the confluence of the Hardware and James has suffered structural damage due to a fallen tree which has washed into the pilings. There are also two fallen trees across the Hardware down stream of the aforementioned bridge that may require portage at low water levels. If you don't plan on running the Hardware to Bremo section of the James after finishing this section, I recommend taking out at the bridge at the WMA on river right and carrying across the bridge to your vehicle parking on river right.
