North Creek

you can keep an eye on the rainfall of apple orchard mtn(parkway area)I think we have ran it with water when it got around 3+inches in a lil over 24 hrs..but then ive been up there with almost 3 inches of rain and north was barely running but jennings was good to go..cam

Any guess as to correlation to other gauges or how much rain the area needs to bring it up?

we hit north creek again at minimum. wood at every turn. you can go up much farther then the campground..... you can drive up as far as Apple Orchard Falls parking lot. . . you can hike up even further.....

Ran the section of Jennings Creek and North Creek on 4/3/09 and Jennings had a few portages but mostly scoutable on the fly or off the road..North Creek has quit a few very fast gradient and good push,there is a 8-10 ft waterfall that i would call a class IVor IV+in high water(video on site).Lots of wood so heads up and there is a few really nice class III(+) drops for sure with some water...-Cam hall

I ran this last spring with a buddy and it is a great intro into easy creeking. LOTS of wood so watch for it. Has one drop that is about a 8 footer. Overall easy run thats just fun. I would rate it as a class 3 creek with a four in there that has an awesome boof.
