Little Klickitat
Olsen Road to Klickitat River
Trip Reports
Log in to add a reportThe beginning of the run is swift and the banks are brushy. If levels are good, and you don't know what you are looking for it is easy to get blown into this rapid, which is the first rapid. If you do, look for the rock Kory is boofing next to here and try to mimick that line.
The center of the river has a crack that has caused dangerous pins in the past.
You might be able to recognize you are about there when a boof or rock presents itself in the middle of the river after the swift water. If you eddy out left at the next opportunity you might get a chance to scout this one.

This is one of the Klickitat's signature rapids. It's a nice length, there is some weaving in and around, then finishes off with a nice 5' ledge.
