I'm not sure why this run isn't done more often-- I was here in a group of 3 packrafters on 11/7/2021 and it was spectacular. Gorgeous scenery, and it's clean all the way through, with more features than the description suggests, especially in and around the corners in the gorge section. If you take the wrong braid in places, you might be in trouble, but it's not too difficult to pick the correct channel. Flow was ~1800CFS on the Virtual/Calculated Soleduck gauge listed on the Class IV Sol Duc 1. run page (can that be linked here, too?), and we were definitely at the high water mark. Setting up the shuttle and getting to the put-in was almost exactly an hour when leaving from Port Angeles, so definitely add this one to your list if you're in the area.

We did this run at high water over the Thanksgiving 2017 holiday starting from the South Fork confluence. It was all clean.

Wood. Watch out for wood.
