Exploring the South Fork Sol Duc Gorge at moderately high water (20.61' at Sol Duc R. nr Quillayute gage) over Thanksgiving weekend.

All the drops in the gorge were clean. The Sol Duc gage was at 2.8'. This was a pretty good level for the first time down but it did need a bit more water. Something around 4’ on the Sol Duc gage would be better.
