Stillaguamish, S. Fork

During summer 2021, upstream on the Silly Stilly section there has been a massive channel diversion project near Gold Basin CG involving moving the river to a new channel and creating new river banks with huge amounts of cabled in logs. High water is very likely to break loose some of these logs and send them downstream. Keep an extra keen eye out for wood, especially after high water events.

Wood across the river just below T1. You could sneak below it on the right bank, but you would need to be in control. Problems in T1 could lead to an encounter with the wood. Apparently you can sneak left too. -Jonathan Ehlinger

log in the left channel of last sunshine in the landing zone...do not run left, log is at chest height and cannot be seen until you drop in. Center boof is still good to go. 10/6/08

As of 8/30/2007 just below Garbage at the end of the boogie/read and run boulder garden that follows, there is a boat pinned horizontally at the base of a small ledge drop in the center of the river. As long as you are paying attention it should be easy to avoid.
