Old Detour Road, which provides access to the take-out, has been temporarily repaired by Skamania County following the December 2025 washout, restoring vehicle access. American Whitewater will continue to coordinate with Skamania County to highlight the importance of this road for the recreational boating community and to support efforts toward more permanent repairs that ensure continued access. Boaters are asked to follow all posted signs and use caution, particularly if conditions change.
