Dinkey Creek to Main Kings Confluence
It is nice to stop and admire Red Rocks Rapid on the drive up to Balch Camp. At this flow of around 670 cfs the main chute on river left is pumping pretty good. Sneak routes starting at far river right and in the center are options at this flow. Trivia: The big boulder just below center of this picture used to be at the bottom of the river left chute. I think the 1997 floods pushed to its new position, but I can't remember for sure.
