There are several additional strainers on the river as of October 2011 at 135cfs/2.25'. At the top of Scrounge canyon, there has been a significant tree that spans the river several feet above the river (at least 4 feet clearance at lower flows). 50-100 yards below this is an additional fallen tree that could be a significant hazard at higher/pushier flow rates. An additional strainer is just below horseshoe falls and while avoidable at lower flows, could be a hazard at higher flows.
