Log in to add an alertRan this section on May 27, 2017. The level was 6.74 ,1890 cfs,( Bluestone @Pipestem) and falling slowly. First time running this section. It was getting scrapy in spots. Not sure I would want to run it much lower. We took out below Eads Mill Bridge on the left. Nice, staight forward Class II to easy Class III run as described. Fun surf waves and side surf holes on both the creek and Bluestone. Very easy shuttle. Nice, scenic, shorter run. There was a lot of wood in the last rapid before the confluence with the Bluestone. Most shoved up near the sides; however, there was one almost river-wide strainer from the left about half way down. We were able to duck under it from the far right side. Easy to see ahead of time if eddy-hopping down. There also were two or three strainers in the first half mile in the calmer water sections. We were able to squeeze by those without getting out of our boats.
Ran Camp Creek 12-16-07 , there is two trees in the creek in the first 1/4 mile . The rest of the run is clear .
