the run feels longer than 2.5 miles and is quite scenic and remote feeling. Please use caution as wood is quite common but it was clear (from below the church to the confluence ) in June of 2020. Portaging is required above the church (2019). High water can be particularly hazardous since a couple of the ledge drops have rock sides, causing the holes to build rather than having the flow dissipate into a shoreline wider area.
