There is a good put-in just below Big Run. You can drive right up to it. 1) From Webster Springs, go 17.4 miles east on 15 and turn left. (This is 1.0 mile west of county line.) 2) Go 0.35 mile and turn left onto hidden road. This may be muddy in wet weather, when you're here. Drive to river. This upper section is Class 2-3, with one nasty log portage just below the put-in, when I was there (2002).
