7 Summersville Dam to Woods Ferry(Upper Gauley)
Kyle Wingler, Hank Zachary & Eric Henrickson put on with 12k flowing from the Dam and 9K from the Meadow. Hank hiked out at Pillow Rock. Being afraid of stinging nettles, Kyle and Eric continued on, finding a wedding in progress at Sweet's Falls. Theses photos were taken by Chrissy Scott, a guest at the wedding. The run of Sweet's was made just as the bride and groom said "I Do". How Romantic. Good thing we hadn't run two minutes earlier and disrupted the matrimonial moment. Several years later around a campfire at Diamond Creek on the Colorado River, Eric and Chrissy figured out that they had indeed met before, that day at the Gauley. The photos were then shared. Oh Yeah, the wedding folks didn't even mind that Kyle had raided their keg in the parking lot.
