7 Summersville Dam to Woods Ferry(Upper Gauley)
At Pillow Rock (Class V), we're in a 14' ranger Go-For-It Boat, running the Hero Line. We smacked right where we wanted to be--the Room of Doom--and bounced off into a major hydraulic, which, as you can tell by the expression on my face (which is actually a gulp of air and not a look of horrifying terror because this is fun and I love this stuff) is about to hit us really hard.
