Greenbrier River, East Fork

Though nothing above (maybe 1) class 2, I would not recommend for beginners. Several in river hazards require quick avoidance responses.

Between 4-H campground and 2nd Thornwood are a few strainers .. easily portaged.

Immediately below Camp Hidden Meadows and above 1st Thornwood bridge there are 2 spots where a landowner has strung barbed wire across river in 2 different spots. One spot is at the bottom of a Class I, chest high and difficult to spot from upstream.

Around E Fork Industrial area (former tannery) is a 6' dam with a nasty look hydraulic at base, rebar sticking from concrete. Portage.
