The put-in may be reached from US 119 via CR 119/5. The take-out can be reached from Smithtown via CR 36. The easiest takeout is just beyond a bridge crossing Whiteday Creek about a 1/2 mile before the confluence of the Monongahela River. This last 1/2 mile is slack water from the Opeska Lock and Dam located just downstream on the Monongahela.

Skanked down the lower portion with @WVkayaker at 8.5 ft. and it was more than awesome. Great creek for a beginner that does not know how to roll yet. Would not recommend running below 5 ft.

Ran this at about ~5.3' the other day and it was pretty scrapey below Smithtown Rd to Opekiska in alot of spots, ~6' would be needed to get rid of all scrapes I believe.
