When the water is flowing this would be a good paddle. However beware the land owners are not friendly. Signs posted everywhere saying no access to the river. Trespassers will be shot, Life after death trespass, and find out etc. Do not paddle alone. Do not step foot on shore. Try to stay in your kayak. We had to get out and lower our kayaks down some falls for safety and were told that we were trespassing by putting our feet on the creek
bottom. Not getting into laws or land rites versus water access. The land owners would rather you die or get hurt then have you wade in the water let alone portage around obstacles. One of the most beautiful places I have paddled. Shame I have to recommend
skipping it. We were polite and simply carried on our way. Won’t be back. Says Chris
