River Description
Very interesting geology in a less often run stream. River has numerous switchbacks where (at higher levels) the water (and boaters) will careen off rock walls, some with possible undercuts.
Some drops have been 'modified' (dynamited by the DNR) to create fish-ladders to improve their upstream passage. These can become troublesome series of keeper holes for boaters.
A particularly fine ledge/falls occurs relatively early in the run. Boaters may enjoy carrying up to repeat plunging off this easy falls.

USGS sampling site
A USGS sampling site at this location lists drainage area of only 20 square miles, which suggests how relatively less often this will be boatable. This is just slightly larger than the French, and both of these are about half the drainage of Sucker River.
