paddled Wakatomica Creek today in a Shredder at around 1000cfs and with 45 years of paddling many rivers i would rate 1000cfs as a minimum flow. First the put in description needs to be revised. There is a covered bridge on Girl Scout Camp road with limited parking. Putting on at the covered bridge on Frampton road would cut off about 2.5 miles of river and the most scenic section with cliffs. Taking out at bridge at intersection of Anderson and Frampton road recommended. Not many places to park and banks are steep. 1/2 mile below the Anderson and Frampton road bridge is a very large log jam blocking entire river. It can be portaged on river right with about 50 yards of bushwhacking on uneven terrain. The jam would need to be dynamited to clear it out or a1000 lumberjacks with chainsaws when river was a trickle. I personally would not kayak the creek below 900 cfs and even then you will scrape in a few places. very scenic run with animal life and we saw a bald eagle . There is not much parking at put in or take out.
