Boris said: This turned out to be a real gem and a highlight of the trip. After fiddling with logs, waiting out a thunderstorm and stomping though some snowy and muddy ground, we crossed under the highway 141 bridge and the real action started.

Several miles of continuous Class III whitewater. Rapid after rapid, with barely an eddy in sight. Just continuous action, very few eddies, no way to scout - just read on the fly and ride. There were no huge holes or exploding waves - just lots and lots of rocks, and we had to be constantly on the lookout for the ever-present logs. It was mile after mile of straight-up, nonstop pure whitewater bliss. Jump into a micro-eddy, turn around, glance back, glance forward, and go. Just remember to breath.
