Pit 2: Pit River Campground to Highway 299(Pit 2 Run)
This long riffle starts near the Lion's Club picnic area and ends here at the outlet of a spring on river right and just before a prominent low basalt cliff. The river flows straight down this rapid till it hits the cliff then turns left. We did not notice the spring outlet behind them (to the left in this photo), but I saw it a couple days later.
