B) Horlick Dam to Quarry Park (0.2 - 0.6 mile)
Diagonal Slice, as seen from river-right just downstream of the ledge. The 'staging eddy' is off-frame to the left. The upper wave forms just left-of-center, while the lower wave forms from the center-frame ledge. Funky wrapping currents make for unusual surfs here, but you can practice front surfs, side surfs, spins, and occasionally more (but nothing vertical ... it is always shallow here).
