River Description
Powderhorn Falls may be seen by driving north on Powderhorn Rd from Hwy 2. After about 1.7 miles, look for a small path leading into the woods to your right. It's a short walk to the falls, which is a 15'-18' vertical with a tricky approach.
There are shots of gradient up and downstream of the falls though the falls is the prime reason for a run here. Very pretty even if you don't intend to run.
Put-in may be from several locations, either by carrying in to just above the falls, from side streets about a half mile north of Hwy 2 (stats based on this option), or from Hwy 2 itself.
