3. Highway 64 to Jordan Reservoir(Lower Haw/Gabriel's Bend)
Strainer / tree across the surfing hole below Gabriel’s Bend on 10 July 2021. Will try to cut it out within a few days.
There is new wood on this section of river above Gabriel's Bend, deposited during the last flood. Six or seven large logs have been wedged on the far river right, and could present a pin hazard at high flows. Boaters should stick with the main channel to avoid the logs.
