River Description

There are two ways to do this creek.

The most common way is to drive up from the bottom as far as the road goes and put in there.  This lends itself nicely as an extension to the run on the North Fork Wilson, and is class III at most flows, but some places have a class IV feel as flows get over 5,000 cfs on the Wilson gauge.  Wood is present in places, but can usually be avoided.

The other option is to put in near the headwaters, using a spur off Diamond Mill Road.  This option is adventurous, and while the whitewater does not really exceed class IV, class V competence may be required to deal with the dynamic wood and rapid situation.  This upper section needs a minimum of 5,000 cfs in the Wilson: Description here
