Some of the smaller water on river left below all the islands. Very dynamic wave with surges that turn curling sweetness into flat current before you know what happened.

BIG FUN
Steve Daniel ripping it up at the '18' Wave'. This is the best feature on the river at any water level.
Randy Barnes playing at the stern squirt eddy while Steve Daniel and Bruce Litton watch.
Steve Daniel going bass ackwards at the slide.
It took tons of work to get the property into decent shape after we purchased land at Hidalgo Falls. Here we are creating the upper parking/camping area from a brush, bamboo and poison ivy covered clearing.
Surfing the 'Friendly Hole'. At the right levels this is a great 360 hole (it's best when facing river right and spinning on the river right edge of the hole - unlike this photo)
Mudholes for the kids at Hidalgo.
Danger, Danger Will Robinson! Potholes exposed at low water at Hidalgo Falls. Serious foot entrapment danger (keep those feet up when swimming).
