Kayaked this April 2019. From Nylund Rd you'll encounter some trees spanning the entire river, but all within the first hour/few miles. This section is moderately fast, but pretty flat, nonetheless the river is cruising around blind corners and sometimes you come around a fast corner and there is a strainer, so be on the lookout that first 5ish miles. After the confluence with W.Branch there weren't any further strainers. Scenic wild and not paddled often.
