River Description
See Banks & Eckardt, Colorado Rivers & Creeks II. They break it up into three short runs, with the first mile a Class-V section. Roadside access is available via I-70, but they caution against parking your car alongside the interstate at the uppermost putin. Getting towed kinda sux.
Lat/longitude coords of the putin and takeout are approximate, from TopoZone.

Trip Reports
Log in to add a reportSeveral avalanche paths on the Northwest side of the Ten Mile Range ran this winter and brought significant woody debris into Ten Mile Creek. There is a strainer about halfway between Officers Gulch and Frisco. There is a 4 boat eddy above the strainer on the river left and a passage at 600 cfs. As the water level rises I imagine wood will continue to move around on this run until the end of the high water season.
