We drove up from Conway yesterday. Our first time in the area.  We intended to float from HWY 16 to HWY 59 but there was no place to leave a vehicle.  I guess you could have someone drop you off....

There is no access to the river at this bridge.

We ended up floating from Siloam Springs Kayak park down to HWY 59 bridge.  $10.00 parking fee at the 59. the Kayak park was free to enter and park.  Very nice facility. Beware of gett towed. Only park where you're supposed to or you'll regret it.

The float was awesome. We went over the drops at the park. Rolled over on drop 2.  No big deal. Once we consolidated and reorganized, we continued down the river.  Water was clear and cool. Never had to get out to drag the kayak but rubbed the bottom a few times.  Overall it was a great float. Be careful of all of the river sitters at the 59 bridge.
