Log in to add a reportMy friend and I were paddling Brentwood Park to West Fork Park. I overturned before reaching destination and kayak filled with water. Went to get help to get kayak but when I returned kayak was gone. I have not been able to locate my lime green Dagger kayak. If anyone finds it please contact me at 479-799-1510. Down trees, rocks, and rapid water made this a difficult kayaking trip.
A buddy and I ran green steel bridge to West Fork park on 5.14.16 at 5.25 river gauge. We were on inflatable paddle boards with smaller than 3' fins and still had the boards get hung up on the river bed several times. For this section we'd recommend 5.25ft as the very lower runnable end.
Also, several trees are newly downed in the river. Very visible and easy portage at lower levels. Could be less visible and more hazardous at 7ft and above, so would recommend scouting.
