Mill Run

Several years ago a storm put many large strainers in the river that are still. Most locals including myself would not run this with so many strainers that you can not paddle through. It is a shame since it is such a nice stream, and it is across the road from my house. I ran it a couple of times when there were only two strainers to portage.

There are two bridges on Mill Run Rd. If you can float through the upper one without scrapping there is enough water. If it looks high and fast there, I would wait for it come down.
