River Description
Gomer, on Boater Talk, suggests that this one be checked out. It's smaller than Citico. 'Break out the Micro 230 or Topo for this one!'
The last mile to the citico confluence drops 280 feet.
Driving up the road for Doublecamp is worth it, but you only need to run the last half mile for some seriously fun drops.
Multiple 3 and 4 foot drops that are only about 8 feet wide give this stream a unique and beautiful character.
Just beware, Doublecamp is usually full of trees (2 trees made one of the rapids just before the confuluence unrunnable as of Feb 23rd, 2003 so please use caution and scout!)
