River Description
This one is said to be pretty trashy. There's a high risk of doing damage to your boat, if not your bod.

The runnable sections are river left below the damn. There are two channels. The furthest left channel has some boogie water then a stout undercut 4 ft ledge followed by a short pool ending in a manky 10 footer with rocks on the right. The next channel over is where the sweet goods are with a 4-5 ft boof into a channelized shoot followed by boogie water turning into a 20 ft slide ending with a meaty 10-12 footer. There is an underwater shelf and plenty of strainers so bring safety and make sure you know where to go. I have footage of this on youtube under East Fork Scioto Waterfall Descents.

I've been kayaking the O'Shaughnessy reservoir for about a year and I've never had any problems. The water is deep(over 6 feet) and calm, usually there are many kayaks and sails running along with no problems.
I am surprised about your comment, so I thought maybe you are misinformed.
