Pigeon Point run @ 550CFS: One word - BONEY. Too boney for rafts and too narrow for oar boats. You have to ship oars at most of the crux moves. Fine for IKs. Hell Hole gets real steep.

The East Branch of the NF, along the nf shuttle road offers some of the best class 3 around, and can be ran into the point on the trinity for a long day. Good flows are rare but if in the area it's more than worth checking on. You need the trinity at cedar flat to be about 2000cfs higher than the damn release. Instead of going up to the hobo gulch trail head for the gnarly NF run stay on the east branch road until a camp sight just after the next bridge. Or go to the end of the road to get some class 4 action on the upper 5 miles. There is also an access road off of the hobo road. It's just before the pass on backbone ridge. This would add another 3-4 miles, I have not ran it but hear it's just more class 4 fun.
