Pine

May 6th had a large logjam on the lower section of the Pine River. It was located two thirds down river from Peterson Bridge heading for Low Bridge. The log jam can be easily avoided by portaging on river left, although the put-in behind the log jam has deep-swift water. Usually the Forest Service has this cleaned out pretty well but they have not yet done this stretch.
